Junior D'Sean Brown tied for seventh in the high jump to highlight the weekend efforts of the NSU men's track and field team at the Hokie Invitational hosted by Virginia Tech.

Sophomore Johnathan Anderson won the men's Division I shot put title to lead the NSU men's track and field team's efforts Saturday at the Hampton University Invitational.

In his first track meet as a Spartan, sophomore Chris Crawford took fourth place in the long jump Saturday as the NSU men opened up the 2014 portion of their indoor schedule at the Penn State Relays.
